👩🍳 Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line two 8-inch round cake pans.
2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
3. In another large bowl, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
4. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
5. Alternately add the flour mixture and milk to the butter mixture, starting and ending with the flour mixture. Mix until just combined.
6. Divide the batter evenly into the two prepared pans and bake for about 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
7. Allow cakes to cool completely on wire racks.
8. For the buttercream: beat the softened butter until smooth, gradually add powdered sugar, then cream/milk, then vanilla. Divide portions and color one portion with black gel for tuxedo details, another with soft pink for gown accents (white remains neutral).
9. Place first cake layer on the serving plate, spread an even layer of buttercream. Place second layer on top and crumb coat the entire cake. Chill 15-20 minutes.
10. Apply final coat of buttercream and smooth the surface.
11. Decorate one half of the cake like the groom: black fondant or icing lapel, red bow-tie, buttons. Decorate the other half like the bride: white fondant or pink accents, sugar pearls, shimmer dust. Place a matching bride & groom topper if desired.

🎨 Decoration & Design
Design Style: Split design — groom’s side and bride’s side, unified in one cake.
Color Palette: Black and white base for groom side; white, soft pink, and pearl for bride side.
Decorative Elements:
Groom Side: Smooth black fondant lapel or black icing, red bow-tie, sugar-pearl buttons.
Bride Side: White fondant drape or piped ruffles, sugar pearls, edible shimmer, perhaps tiny fondant bouquet.
Presentation: Display on white or mirrored cake stand. For extra effect, scatter small sugar pearls or glitter dust around the base. Ensure cake is centered so the dual-design effect is visible from front view.
Theme Consistency: Ensure the two halves “connect” visually — e.g., a ribbon or decorative element runs across both halves to symbolize unity (like a shared belt or fondant ribbon).
