🍰 Tulle Dress Cake Recipe 🎀✨






 

🧁 Ingredients (for 3 tiers)


For the cake layers:


3 ½ cups (440 g) all-purpose flour 🌸


2 cups (400 g) sugar 🍬


1 cup (230 g) unsalted butter, softened 🧈


1 cup (240 ml) milk 🥛


6 large eggs 🥚


2 tsp baking powder


½ tsp baking soda


½ tsp salt


2 tsp vanilla extract 🌼



For the filling:


1 cup strawberry jam 🍓


2 cups vanilla buttercream



For the vanilla buttercream:


2 cups (460 g) unsalted butter, room temperature 🧈


5 cups (600 g) powdered sugar 🍥


2 tsp vanilla extract


3 tbsp heavy cream


Pinch of salt



For decoration:


Ivory and blush fondant 🎀


Edible sugar ruffles (to create the tulle effect)


Edible pearls and gold shimmer dust 💫


Small fondant bow or sugar corsage 🎀


Lace details and sugar pleats for texture

👩‍🍳 Instructions


1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line three round pans of different sizes.



2. Beat butter and sugar until light and creamy 💛.



3. Add eggs one by one, then mix in vanilla extract.



4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.



5. Gradually add dry ingredients and milk alternately to the butter mixture until smooth.



6. Divide the batter evenly among the pans and bake for 25–30 minutes.



7. Let cakes cool completely before layering.



8. Spread strawberry jam and vanilla buttercream between each layer 🍓.



9. Cover the entire cake with a thin layer of buttercream for a smooth base.



10. Roll out ivory fondant, cover the cake neatly, and then add blush sugar ruffles to form soft tulle-like folds 🎀.



11. Decorate with a fondant bow or sugar corsage on top, dust with gold shimmer, and add edible pearls for a touch of glamour 💫.
